Kochendorf has a picturesque location
where three rivers meet -- the Neckar,
Jagst and Kocher.
Originally a village in the Franken region
within the former state of Wuerttemberg,
Kochendorf is now part of
Bad
state of Baden Wuerttemberg, not far
from Stuttgart and close to Heilbronn.
Bad Friedrichshall is a spa town and
there is a world-renowned salt mine
in Kochendorf.
Kochendorf also lies on Germany's
famous Burgenstrasse or Castle Road
which runs from Mannheim via
Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Rothenberg and
Ansbach to Nuremberg.
